This publication refers to the handwritten journal of the boyscouts of Paphos, found in the archives of the founder of the boyscout movement in Paphos, Loizos Philippou. The journal covers the first four years of the scouts’ organisation in the town of Paphos (1915-1918) and with the photographs of the period commemorate many aspects of the way of life, the social, political, financial and cultural state, not only of the Paphos district, but of Cyprus as a whole.
