The publication includes:

a. The book which consists of a contemporary itinerary by means of photography in those countries of the East which keep alive the memory of Alexander the Great. Apart from historical events (battles, founding of cities, crossing of rivers, diplomatic arrangements, etc.), attention is placed on archae­o­­logical sites (see page 170).

b. Greek codex 369 in facsimile reproduction with Arrianos’ work Alexander’s Anabasis, kept in the Biblioteca Marziana of Venice.

c. A smaller volume with biographical information on the historian of antiquity Arrianos, a scientific analysis of the history and significance of the codex and a palaeographic transcription of the work by A. Tselikas.
