The Cultural Foundation has embarked on a series of innovative, specialized programs, aiming at bringing the youth of Cyprus closer to art, the letters and civilization. Through specially designed educational programs and guided tours, more than 100.000 students have had the opportunity to enrich their knowledge on the history and civilization of Cyprus and other countries too, while enjoying unprecedented aesthetic experiences.

Current Programmes
Allow me to introduce myself: I’m an archaeologist
The programme is for primary schools. It aims to acquaint children with the science of archaeology. Students will have the chance to look into the branch of archaeology which, through the study of the ancient tangible civilization, provides access to the primary sources required to construct knowledge of the past.
Priceless: Coins and other values
The proposed educational programme is addressed to students aged 10-14 and aspires to expand the concept of value in the sense of both monetary worth and principle by introducing children to the Numismatic Collection of the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation.
World Voice
Through this programme, students will learn about different ways of delving into significant aspects of Cyprus economic history during the 20th c., by drawing on primary and secondary material from the Bank of Cyprus Historical Archive.
Something ancient’s cooking
The proposed programme titled “Something ancient’s cooking” is addressed to grades 4 and 5 of Primary School, and it covers a broad range of objectives around three different disciplines: history, theatre education and health education.
