As part of its overall contribution to education, the Cultural Foundation donates each year part of its publications and digital productions to primary and secondary education schools.

Donation to the Ministry of Education and Culture

In September 2015, 10.500 books of a total value €375.000, were donated to the Ministry of Education and Culture with the aim to be distributed in primary and secondary education. These books cover subjects pertaining to Cypriot history, archaeology, numismatics, cartography, art, literature, environment as well as a series of exhibition catalogues.

This donation is part of a greater donation of the Cultural Foundation's publications to various institutions and social organisations. The total value of this scheme is €1.000.000.

Donation to the Church of Cyprus

In March 2016, the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation donated to the Church of Cyprus 10.000 books of a total value €444,200. The donation was handed over to His Beatitude Archbishop of Cyprus Mr Chrysostomos.

The books will be delivered to all bishoprics with the aim to become accessible by people all over Cyprus, of all ages.
