Codex B-30 was studied by Chrysovalantis Kyriacou, as part of his doctoral research at the Hellenic Institute, Royal Holloway, University of London, on the Orthodox Church in Frankish and Venetian-Ruled Cyprus (1191-1571), focusing on society, spirituality and identity.

Codex B-30 comprises a treatise on the ‘errors’ of the various religious communities of Cyprus (Greeks, Latins, Copts, Armenians, etc.) in the last years of the Venetian rule on the island, composed sometime between 1563 and 1570. The codex, a copy of the original manuscript, which was produced sometime between 1580 and 1595, provides also valuable information on the economy of the island and on its Cypro-Venetian nobility. The findings of the study B-30 will be published as a monograph.
