The Reference Library comprises various editions on cartography and numismatics, as well as on the history and archaeology of Cyprus, particularly of the medieval period to the present.
The reference library includes various other collections of books: publications on paper conservation, a series of auction catalogues related to the holdings of the collections, and a section with almost every book published in Cyprus or about Cyprus since the 1980s, including fiction and poetry. The Foundation continues to purchase editions concerning Cyprus and in the near future the library will be opened to the public.
The Archives of the “Panhellenic Union of Solidarity with Cyprus”, formed in Greece immediately after the Turkish invasion of 1974, were donated to the Foundation by the Historical and Ethnological Society of Greece in 1992. The Archives contain the material published and circulated worldwide by the Union in an effort to correctly inform public opinion of the critical situation created in Cyprus as a result of the invasion and continuing occupation of the northern part of the island by the Turkish army.
