Lectures
The Annual Lecture on the History and Archaeology of Cyprus is the oldest (as of 1985) annual event open to the general public. Lectures are given by well-known scholars who work abroad in various institutions and specialize in topics of Cypriot history and archaeology.

Every two years the Foundation organizes lectures on Cypriot numismatics and Cypriot cartography, as well as lectures given by the directors of fellow institutions.

Donations of Books
Every year the Cultural Foundation purchases limited quantities of all noteworthy works of Cypriot authors as well as of books concerning Cyprus. These editions are donated to various municipal and school libraries throughout the island.

Libraries and academic institutions abroad also receive, from the Cultural Foundation, a significant number of contemporary books on Cyprus. To date, some 12,000 books have been donated.

Awards
Within the scope of its contribution to education, the Cultural Foundation has set up a number of awards in the sectors of “Children’s and Young Adults’ Literature” and “School Theatre”.

Cypriot Association of Children’s and Young Adults’ Book
Over the past fifteen years, the Cultural Foundation has sponsored the children’s and young adults’ literature competition held annually by the Cypriot Association of Children’s and Young Adult’s Book.

Pancyprian School Theatre Awards
The Cultural Foundation is the sponsor of the School Theatre Competition held annually by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Cyprus Theatre Organization. The Cultural Foundation’s sponsorship covers the airline tickets and participation costs of the pupil-actors and teacher-escorts in the Panhellenic School Theatre Competition.
