17 March - 17 March 2018

On the occasion of World Theatre Day on the 27th of March, the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation invites children to drama workshops, ushering future theatre-goers into the world of theatre and its people.

In collaboration with the Cyprus Theatre Museum, the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation celebrates theatre by hosting drama workshops addressed to children aged 7-10. The workshops aim to introduce children to the basic principles of the dramatic art, and the roles of contributors both on and off stage whilst using pantomime and improvisation to cultivate their imagination and physical expression.

The workshop, with animateur Nicoletta Tziaouri, theatrologist/Museum associate, “travels” to Nicosia for the first time, giving the public the opportunity to attend the – slightly varied –  educational actions unfolding in the premises of the Cyprus Theatre Museum, seated in Limassol.

The drama workshop is organized in the framework of the #deneinaisxoleio series for families.

The workshop is a variation of the workshops specially designed for and hosted in the premises of the Cyprus Theatre Museum in Limassol.
