Sound Of Thieves are an experimental electro-funk band, consisting of Phoebe Pope on vocals and Jan Bures on electric bass. The group was born from a vision of creating a full and varied sound, with the use of as few musicians as possible. They have managed to achieve this through their use of sampling, live-looping and live instruments.

Performing a range of unusual covers as well as original music, Sound Of Thieves take their inspiration from all forms of music surrounding them, be it classical, jazz, funk or even electronic, and transmit this inspiration in their live shows, electrifying their audiences with their grooves, beats and sounds.
