The BoCCF's Contemporary Art Collection currently numbers more than 1,000 works of art - paintings, prints, video-art, sculptures and mixed media works - by renowned artists.
Several paintings and sculptures purchased over the course of time by the Bank of Cyprus have been transferred to the Cultural Foundation, in accordance with the provisions of its founding act of 1984. The primary aim of the Cultural Foundation is the gradual formation of a representative collection that will constitute a historical retrospective of the course of the visual arts of the 20th century in Cyprus and Greece.
